This project was a major expansion for the Placid Refinery to increase their capacity while improving emissions and meeting federal low sulfur standards for fuel. This Hydrotreater project consisted of one major pipe rack with supporting structures. A compressor deck for two compressors was built adjacent to the pipe rack. Reactors, Towers, Drums, Exchangers, Fin Fans, and Pumps were the major pieces of equipment that were included in the scope of this project. Our contract also consisted of installing the piping systems associated with the complete project (all phases).
Structural Steel - Approximately 300 tons with the main pipe rack, compressor deck, and surrounding structures.
Mechanical Equipment - Setting and alignment of 80 pieces of equipment including Reactors, Towers, Drums, Exchangers, Fin Fans, Power House, Analyzer Building, Filters, and Pumps.
Piping - Installation of approximately 34,000 L.F. of Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and Chrome Moly piping.
