This project was a grass roots latex plant at the Dow, Taft/SCO site which was bid competitively, consisting of one major structural and equipment setting contract and two major mechanical contracts with an additional offsite steel and piping contract.

IDC expended approximately 350,000 manhours in completing the following scope of work.

Civil - approximately 2,200 C.Y. of miscellaneous foundations, trenching and area paving.

Structural Steel - erection of approximately 4,500 tons with the main structural, pipe racks, and miscellaneous steel.

Mechanical Equipment - setting and alignment of hundreds of pieces of equipment including glass-lined reactors, MRU's Thermal Oxidizer, Vessels, Exchangers and Pumps from 1/2 h.p. to 750 h.p.

Piping - installation of approximately 165,000 L.F. of stainless steel, carbon steel and lined piping.
